City of Angels

We took a half day tour with Curtis‘  City tours. (Michelle’s brother Curtis took us to the airport).

We were looking for the Museum of Contemporary Art. The navigation system sent us five times around the block until we found out it is above the tunnel we were driving thru all the time.

Andy Wharhol’s shades was in the museum. The same shapes are shown 100 times in different variations. The museum attendent has to look at the shapes all day long and will probably dream of them during the night.

We got a little tour of downtown Los Angelos and went to the Farmer’s Market. This is Los Angelos’s Viktualienmarkt. Excellent looking and smelling food everywhere. They had lots of meat and  sauseges, but I could neither find Weisswurst nor Leberkäse.
So we had some Arabian food and ice cream.

Afterwards Curtis dropped us off at LAX for our overnight flight to the Cook Islands.

The Travel Angel of Los Angelos will hopefully bring us to many interesting places and take good care of us.
