Trip to California with a dog

We had an exiting trip to California. This was mostly caused by the fact, that we never took a dog with us on the plane.

It started out in Grasbrunn in the snow with a morning dog walk.

At the airport we built the cage for the dog. Penny got some pills and went on the plane for 14 hours.

Michelle and Uli had a last Weisswurst breakfast at the airport. Weisswurst, Brezen, sweet mustard and Weissbier.

When we picked up Penny at Los Angelos Airport, she barked like crazy. She had to stay in the cage until we passed customs. We had a hard time to push the wagon with the cage on it, because she was moving so much. We got lots of attention from many people. The person at customs checked Penny's papers very fast, because she was barking. It was an interesting experience. Poor Penny, but she did a good job.

Now Penny is happy to be in California. She still has a little jetlag.

Finally we are in sunny Southern California. From now on we will travel without a dog.
